The Human Story - The Purpose. (Part 2 of 3) Have you ever thought about your purpose? Why were you born? Have you been created for a purpose? There are many worldviews that postulate a range of theories. However, the Christian Worldview is that humans were created uniquely in God's Image (Genesis 1:27). That is a staggering statement! Human beings were created in God's (The Creator of the Universe) image!!  We didn't happen by accident. We are not the result of cosmic randomness. When one looks at all of the elements needed for human life (and animal life for that matter), it is truly an 'act of faith' to believe that anything else, except intentionality by a Divine Creator, is the cause of our existence. How many times have you said something and 3 seconds later, you want to take your words back? Doing this is distinctly human...understandable, and wrong! Dawnian Productions has just uploaded a new video to YouTube. It is titled, 'Clear Coding". The expression might not mean much to some of you. It originally was connected to the world of dating (yes, the romantic kind - is there any other kind?). Clear Coding describes a situation where people are communicating in a clear accurate manner without hidden meanings or surprises. I personally love clear communication. I am fully aware when my own communication is less than I expect and I am always looking to improve my communication skills. - be it, speaking, writing or visually. What about you? How is your communication...with your friends, spouse, children, work colleagues and God? Does your communication leave a sweet perfume behind it? Is it sharp and unkind? Is it all that you want it to be? God wants to communicate with you?...

'Distractions'...This short video is full of 'interesting' disconnected distractions. Dawnian Productions produced this video as a distraction!! However, it does have a broader message. We live in a world full of intriguing distractions - meaningless - but nonetheless, captivating! I often find myself doing the dreaded 'scrolling'...and when I eventually drag myself out of the 'rabbit hole', I look at my watch and I am in 'awe' (disgusted, more like it!) at my capacity to waste my time on things that do not add to my life in any significant way. I usually ask God to forgive me and continue on my way, praying I will never do that again. But I do! I am guessing that some of you may feel the same as me. What do I do? How do I stop this? Is there a cure? Distraction is rarely about 'too many things to do.'It is usually about giving ultimate attention to lesser things.  '...not today.' - Well, today is the day! This incredible story that flooded our media feeds in early February 2026 was nothing short of a miracle. The video that we (Dawnian Productions) have just completed, is now on YouTube. It tells the true story of a remarkable young man (13 yrs of age) who did the impossible to save his family from almost certain death. I have read this amazing story as part of the research for this video and still feel a sense of the miraculous and have so many unanswered questions! The title of this video references something that Austin Appelbee said to himself as he was swimming the 4 kilometres to shore. It is interesting to note that the media did not highlight, what I consider the most significant part of this story. Austin's feat obviously points to a God who was with him on that perilous journey.  'If Men Were Angels'... is now completed and is on YouTube (Dawnian Productions). In looking around the world, our country, our community, one can see that men (mankind) are certainly not angels! The expression used in the video - 'barely functioning humans' - is closer to reality!! Many of us have lofty ideals and speak of great things. But inside of us, if we are truthful, we know the reality. We are sinners - our motivations are often selfish and our comments are self-serving. We either can mask it and pretend that we are better than we are or we can look to someone who really can save us. No, not our partner, not the government, not a new philosophy or ideology. There is only one who can save us. It is Jesus. He is calling us to Himself. He is coming back and he wants us with Him. As Christians we know this as the Good News. If all you see around you is bad news, there is only one person who can fix this and transform you. You know the answer. Stop procrastinating!

  If you are a new parent (or parent for that matter, or know of new parents) this video will resonate with you. As I was reflecting about this year, 2026, I noted, with great sadness, a story about an aborted baby that was born alive and left without any medical assistance. This event occurred in Australia. I don't want to offer conjecture or judgement here. I just want to reflect on the sacredness and sanctity of a human life. A policy that allows a baby, the most vulnerable member of our society, to die without any medical intervention, after a botched abortion, seems to me, to be a policy that needs to change. Those who witnessed this must have been extremely distressed and will probably never get the image out of their mind. God gives and sustains human life. To read this story left me feeling somewhat angry, a little helpless and hopeless. What can I do about this? Is there anything other than pray for the mother, the family?  ' The Human Story - The Chosen' (Part 1 of 3)   It is 2026 and the world has changed since I last posted on Blogger. How is it changed one may ask? The world is collectively holding its breath. We are not sure what tomorrow's headlines will look like. We are not sure about how many more thousands will be massacred than what we read about yesterday. The world wakes up every day anticipating that the violence we saw yesterday would somehow be explained away. But it just gets worse. The lies that were told yesterday is the truth that we read about today. Social media headlines scream at us, entice us, lie to us, promise us, inform us. The truth that we hold as self evident is denied by those over us. Once a government was thought to protect its people and to provide them with the resources for them to survive and thrive. This no longer is true. Our freedom to speak is being eroded every day...and we are told that this is to keep us safe.  At this stage, one may wonder what ...
