My Enemy
My Enemy. In Luke 6:27-28, Jesus spoke these words '...Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who spitefully use you.' As Christians, these words are very familiar to us, but when one compare these words to what one sees and reads about around the world - how people, governments, nations and cultures interact with each other, one sees the opposite. I have never seen a time where there has been as much blatant disrespect, open hatred and animosity, acrimony, ill-will, antagonism, contempt, hostility and prejudice, as I have seen in today's world. One could spend a lifetime analysing why this is. One is drawn to 2 Timothy Chapter 3 in the Bible (We would encourage you to read it) where such things are foreshadowed in the last days.
