Perfume

 'Perfume' can now be viewed on YouTube (Dawnian Productions). After events of the last few weeks, it felt good to be visually and 'virtually' immersed in things of fragrance and beauty. It was almost like being 'reborn'. When one reflects, one begins to realise how much beauty surrounds us in our everyday lives. Are you able to name some beautiful things in your life right now? (BTW, this is not a question just for women)...the morning light through a window, the smell of rain, a hot cup of tea or coffee, a quiet house early in the morning, a familiar road, music that finds you at the right moment, laughter that comes unexpectantly. Of course, as a male, one might add a few other things (I'll let you guess what they are). Then there are beautiful human things...real forgiveness, someone remembering something small about you, sitting with someone in silence without being awkward, a child's trust, old people holding hands, someone who chooses to stay when it would be easier to leave.

Have you ever thought about God being beautiful. He created beauty. He actually is the author of beauty. He made you to appreciate beauty, in all of its many natural forms. As a Christian, one carries/reflects the fragrance of Creator and Father God, into every situation, every interaction. If this is unfamiliar to you, I encourage you to ask a person who identifies as a Christian. I'm sure they will be happy to tell you about this, and how beautiful God is to them.

My prayer, is that, one day, you will encounter God, in all of His beauty and love, through His Son, Jesus, who gave His life for you, so you could live a life - free, forgiven and with hope.
