Sound Bite

 Sound Bite! I can almost hear someone saying, 'Hey, that's not how you spell Bite. Isn't it spelt 'Byte'? Just to clarify, 'Byte' is a unit of digital information and is often used (incorrectly) with the word 'Sound'. Most style guides suggest that 'Sound Bite' is correct. Just saying.

Moving on. 'Sound Bite' is the title of my latest video (Dawnian Productions-You Tube). This production took an inordinate amount of time and I am not sure why. On reflection, I think the message was not clear from the start (I am still unsure if the message is still a little unclear. You, the viewer, will be the final judge of that!). I have used a number of famous faces, in the video, some of which, may not be known to our older viewers. These were added to compare the many voices we hear (and read) each day, to the Voice of Truth, Jesus Christ. I also used these people, so younger viewers, would be better able to relate to the message. I used some famous archival footage as well, to illustrate what a sound bite might look and sound like, historically (maybe, for the older generation).

Well, I hope with all that, people will be able to see (and experience) the difference in the words (often trite) spoken by celebrities and other luminaries, compared to the Word - Jesus, who said that He is the Truth and the Life. Jesus didn't just speak the truth, He IS the TRUTH. Hopefully some may see, in my attempt in this video, (and after reading the Gospel of John), God, in all of His beauty, majesty, awesomeness and Holiness. When looking at the origin of the word, 'Corruption', one notices words such as - breaking, violation, bribery, ruin, spoil, decay, contamination, depraved, wickedness, seduction as part of the etymology of that word.  ' The Human Story - The Chosen' (Part 1 of 3)   It is 2026 and the world has changed since I last posted on Blogger. How is it changed one may ask? The world is collectively holding its breath. We are not sure what tomorrow's headlines will look like. We are not sure about how many more thousands will be massacred than what we read about yesterday. What Remains.

Dawnian Productions has just uploaded our latest video, 'What Remains' on YouTube. The topic of this video is something many people are currently asking, the 'What will remain...' questions. What if one lost everything, what would remain in one's life that would give it purpose? When one loses capacity as one gets older, what remains? What remains when a family tragically loses a child? What remains when one's status and wealth are gone? What remains when one is no longer needed? What remains when one is left alone? What remains when one loses one's Christian faith? There is so much 'human wreckage' surrounding these conundrums and so much to reflect upon.  'What Remains' is a video that explores this in a post apocalyptic context and poses the answer to that question, 'What remains...' I pray that you will build into your life, things that will remain, based on a God who is eternal.
